THE FRADU CANBERRAS WEB-SITE

[What's New?]

Welcome to the 'FRADU Canberras' section of the FRADU aircraft archive web-site.

The English Electric Canberra served with the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit (FRADU) at RNAS Yeovilton for twenty years, and after initially being set-up as part of the FRADU Hunters web-site in July 1998, the Canberra section was separated in 2009 to form a new site, but was brought back under the FRADU aircraft archive umbrella in 2021.
The Canberra's time with the Royal Navy is often overlooked due to the type's 50-year association with the Royal Air Force.

All 21 Canberra airframes that served with the FRADU unit are, or will be featured on this site, with details of where and/or if they survive today.
A series of photographic collections are also featured. Please have a look around the site and let me know what you think by clicking the options below.
